Orange river

This collection was born from the contemplation of a river alive with the graceful movement of vibrant Japanese koi carp. Their flowing motion, flashes of brilliant orange, and endless dance through the water became the inspiration behind this collection.

In every piece, the fine orange threads represent tiny koi. They seem to swim through the product, creating a living current where each thread becomes part of a single flowing river. From afar, they appear as a warm shimmer of color, but a closer look reveals movement, life, and depth.

In Japanese culture, the koi symbolizes strength of spirit, perseverance, good fortune, prosperity, and the fulfillment of dreams. According to an ancient legend, a koi that succeeds in swimming upstream and overcoming a powerful waterfall is transformed into a dragon—a symbol of ultimate transformation. Every orange thread in these works is therefore more than a decorative detail; it is a symbol of inner strength, of moving forward against the current, and of finding one’s own path.
